Welcome To Lodge At River's Edge

Nestled in the lush native landscape embracing the Frying Pan River, Lodge at River’s Edge has been welcoming guests to the Basalt area since 1990. Situated on two private riverfront acres, dominated by the snow-capped majesty of Mt. Sopris in the distance, you are only two blocks from the downtown district of charming Basalt. You will find yourself only minutes away from restaurants ranging from casual fare to gourmet cuisine, unique shops, and art galleries. Lodge at River’s Edge is open year-round for your convenience. We have several different rental options including: a 4 bedroom house, 5 bedroom house, the Garden Room (a single suite) and the cabin.  Call or email us anytime for more information and for reservations! 

In the summer of 2005, Lodge at River’s Edge  became an affiliate of Joshua Creek Ranch, located in the Texas Hill Country northwest of San Antonio. New owners and enthusiastic management have given Lodge at River’s Edge a new look and ambience, featuring luxurious and select accommodations that reflect the Southern hospitality and commitment to excellence that has defined Joshua Creek Ranch since it opened in 1990.

When you rent the Lodge as either a 4 or 5 bedroom house you have access to the Lodge living and dining rooms which share a 17-foot high rock fireplace.  This is a great place where guests can warm their hands, and curl up with a good book. The library along with the guest rooms have cable TV and wireless internet access. A shady deck surrounds the Lodge, expanding on the river front to accommodate a hot tub available to guests year-round.

In the well furnished kitchen, Lodge guests will find all they need to prepare simple or gourmet meals that can be enjoyed on the deck, weather permitting of course, or in the sun-filled dining room, both of which overlook the Frying Pan River.
